Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering compassionate and individualized care to meet the unique needs of each resident.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
  • Assist residents with mobility and transfer, including use of wheelchairs and other assistive devices.
  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the charge nurse and other healthcare team members.
  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation, including development of individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless delivery of care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an approved State Registered Nursing Assistant/Aide Program (SRNA) or equivalent.
  • Current certification as a State Registered Nursing Aide (SRNA) in the State of Kentucky.
  • Minimum of three months direct care experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
