Development of Pricing & Profitability Strategies:
- Formulate and execute pricing strategies that are in harmony with organizational objectives and market dynamics.
- Enhance the efficiency, acceptance, and profitability of the company's pricing strategies across both new and existing ventures.
- Regularly assess the prevailing pricing landscape, including contractual obligations, to identify margin risks and opportunities.
- Create, sustain, and refine pricing models and tools to support pricing decisions and ensure precision.
- Identify and implement process enhancements to boost pricing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Deliver actionable data insights and recommendations that inform profitable decision-making.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive assessments to guide pricing strategies and uncover revenue growth opportunities.
- Examine pricing data, sales patterns, and profitability metrics to provide data-driven recommendations and adjustments.
- Prepare and present pricing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and procurement teams to ensure alignment of pricing strategies with business goals.
- Identify and facilitate training opportunities regarding processes and pricing strategies.
- Foster stakeholder buy-in and promote the adoption of pricing strategies and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or a similar role, ideally in a senior or leadership capacity.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical findings to a non-technical audience.
- Demonstrated success in leading significant change management initiatives.
- Strong business acumen and profitability insight within a distribution context.
- Results-driven with the capability to advance projects effectively.
- Proven ability to think critically and resolve complex pricing issues.
- Experience working efficiently in cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in data analysis and financial modeling.
