Overview:


The Senior Reservations Coordinator is tasked with managing bookings, inquiries, and cancellations with a focus on attentiveness and efficiency, while optimizing room revenue in line with the hotel’s standards.

This role necessitates the capability to respond to inquiries and provide comprehensive information regarding Hotel and Group Reservations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure precise entry of third-party and Group Reservations promptly and courteously.

2. Process third-party payments for Groups accurately.

3. Collaborate closely with the Hotel Administrative Assistant on group bookings, highlighting any inventory concerns.

4. Maintain accurate reservation control to guarantee maximum room occupancy at optimal rates.

5. Manage special reservations, including V.I.P bookings, packages, golf arrangements, and discounts.

6. Perform all Front Desk Agent duties and provide assistance at the front desk as necessary.

7. Book and allocate rooms following hotel standards for group and rooming lists in accordance with the booking agreement.

8. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.

- Completion of trade school or vocational/technical training in hotel and motel management.

- Minimum one year of experience in a high-volume hotel environment as a desk clerk or reservationist.

- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.


- Ability to provide a service level that fosters an atmosphere encouraging guest return, ensuring each guest has a positive and memorable experience.


- Dedication to consistently exceed expectations in fulfilling job responsibilities to contribute to organizational goals.

- Must convey an image of enthusiasm and excitement while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are required.

- Demonstrated work ethic and teamwork capabilities.

Posted Salary Range:
USD $14.00 /Hr.
