About the Role

The Tax Manager position at Career Servant is a key leadership role that oversees staff, manages client assignments, and delivers high-quality service. This position involves assisting with office operations, client service activities, quality control, and production revenue budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Tax client service coordinator for designated clients
  • Advise clients on corporate tax services, including planning and compliance
  • Manage client needs regarding tax services and compliance
  • Promote the Firm through client interactions and community events
  • Prepare and review tax returns, providing detailed analysis
  • Communicate complex issues in a simplified manner to clients
  • Review research findings to ensure compliance with firm policies
  • Assist with business development and tax issue recognition
  • Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • Preferred MBA or related degree
  • CPA or EA certification
  • 7-10 years of related tax experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of related management experience preferred
