Job Overview

SST Direct is seeking an experienced Traveling Environmental Superintendent to lead remediation projects across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental cleanup, soil remediation, demo/decon, or habitat restoration, with a proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams in construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects with minimal supervision, managing tasks and schedules effectively
  • Ensure compliance with company and client Health and Safety requirements
  • Direct field personnel, subcontractors, and equipment operators to ensure project progress
  • Maintain accurate daily field documentation
  • Identify contract requirements, potential changes, and out-of-scope items
  • Assist in cost estimation and negotiation with vendors/subcontractors
  • Conduct initial accident investigations and develop procedures
  • Collaborate with senior management to establish project goals
  • Supervise and mentor up to 10 direct craft reports
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in environmental cleanup, soil remediation, demo/decon, or habitat restoration
  • Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary teams in construction projects
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and current 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher required
  • USACE QC Training

Salary: $95,000 - $140,000 per year (based on experience)
