Key Responsibilities- Support the Operations department in the execution of projects, working closely with Project Managers to develop project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, timing, and estimated deliveries.
- Create technical drawings, including block diagrams, single-line diagrams, architectural drawings, and electrical drawings.
- Research and validate solutions for sales, assisting sales representatives in developing solutions for clients.
- Communicate with the Director of Operations and Technical Manager on issues related to each team.
- Plan workflow with the Director of Operations and Technical Manager.
- Validate equipment choices and systems conception before submitting bids.
- Responsible for researching products and specialized equipment.
- Evaluate workforce needs, hardware store, and wirings for projects.
- Create hardware and wiring equipment lists.
- Stay informed about new products and modern technologies in the audiovisual domain.
- Participate in the development of systems manuals for clients.
- Create items that must be custom-built by the assembly or external providers.
- Analyze estimated costs, feasibility, and relevant projects submitted by representatives.
- Act as a reference for internal and external clients.
- Ensure technical compliance of project deliveries.
- Diploma in audiovisual, project management, or relevant work experience; CTS certification is a plus, with preference given to CTS-D.
- Minimum of six years of experience as an audio-visual systems designer.
- Knowledge of construction sites.
- Advanced practical and theoretical knowledge of sound, lighting, control, video, and videoconference.
- Good knowledge of Office 365 (Excel, Word).
- Knowledge of software: AutoCAD, MS Project.
- Ability to prepare, understand, and interpret advanced single-line diagrams, architectural, construction, and electrical drawings.
- Specialized software skills in sound and/or lighting of configurator DSP type, sound analysis, calibration.
- Strong capacity to work with multiple schedules at once and under pressure.
- Ability to solve complicated problems.
- Thoroughness and attention to detail.
- Well-developed organizational skills.
- Demonstrate ability to work well with clients (internal and external).
- Adapt to change easily.
- Strong team player and highly collaborative.
