Job Summary

As a Uranium Processing Plant Operator at Adecco US, Inc., you will play a critical role in the uranium recovery process, ensuring the safe and efficient processing of uranium-loaded resins. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resin Master: Handle uranium-loaded resin transfers, stripping, and guiding it through the precipitation, drying, and final packaging stages.
  • Sample Collector: Gather samples from various stages of the process and perform basic lab analysis.
  • Process Monitoring: Keep an eye on plant metrics using the control computer and jump into action when alarms sound.
  • Record Keeper: Document every step and action to ensure accuracy and keep the plant running smoothly.
  • Road Warrior: Occasionally drive truckloads of ion exchange resin between our two key sites.

Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Basic construction or maintenance knowledge, plus PVC plumbing skills to keep things flowing smoothly.
  • Valid drivers license (Class A CDL is a big plus).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must follow standard operating procedures and pay attention to detail (because precision is key in this job).
  • Basic computer skills enough to operate the control systems and keep accurate records.
  • Be ready to pass a pulmonary function test (you'll need a respirator) and a drug/alcohol screening.
