Job Description:

In this exciting Nurse Practitioner role at Grady Health System, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Your expertise in nursing and clinical skills will be essential in evaluating patients' needs, developing treatment plans, and promoting patient wellness.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify health issues and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Order diagnostic tests and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Prescribe medications and non-pharmacologic interventions to promote patient well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide patient education and support to empower them in their healthcare journeys.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient-centered care.


Requirements:
  • Active Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • Current Georgia authorization/certification as a NP Advanced Practice Registered Professional Nurse.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing from the Georgia Board of Nursing Graduate School NP program.
  • Previous experience in the specialty is highly valued.


Salary Range:$130,000 - $165,000 per year,
