We are currently seeking a full-time Program Supervisor for Intervention Services (Bilingual preferred) to oversee our Midway Adult Protective Services division. This role will primarily focus on serving the Illinois Department on Aging (IDOA) in designated suburban areas, with the flexibility to cover additional service areas as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with program management to ensure compliance with agency protocols and funder requirements.
  • Provide case consultation to Specialists, guiding them through community-based visits and critical decision points regarding client safety and self-determination.
  • Continuously assess staff safety in relation to client risk levels and community factors, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Guide Specialists in emergency or crisis interventions, ensuring client safety and the least restrictive options.
  • Monitor staff caseloads for adherence to timelines, required activities, documentation, and quality of services.
  • Implement a program structure to uphold state-mandated protocols and ensure the provision of essential services.
  • Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with agency policies; prepare case files for court proceedings.
  • Oversee personnel matters within the program, including hiring, assigning, and terminating staff, while identifying training needs for professional development.
  • Ensure financial sustainability of the program through timely billing and budget recommendations.
  • Facilitate a multi-disciplinary approach to client interventions and coordinate community partnership meetings.
  • Develop relationships with community agencies and conduct educational opportunities to enhance awareness and referrals.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors to achieve program goals.
  • Work effectively with diverse staff and service populations, demonstrating cultural sensitivity.
  • Manage 24-hour staffing coverage and serve as the primary contact for the hotline.
  • Participate in on-call rotations with other Supervisors to provide consultation and ensure compliance with program response times.
  • Attend staff meetings, in-services, and workshops to maintain program licensure and certifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Five (5) years of post-graduate experience with demonstrated supervisory skills and increasing levels of responsibility is required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
  • Proven competence in teaching and coaching.
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle, and auto insurance are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple demands.
  • Capability to work effectively with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Or Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution; and seven (7) years of post-Bachelor's experience with demonstrated supervisory skills and increasing levels of responsibility is required.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with families or communities, and understanding of interfamilial violence.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • While performing essential duties, the employee is required to sit and stand for extended periods, frequently talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate controls.
  • Close visual acuity is necessary for preparing and analyzing data and figures, and for viewing a computer terminal.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
SALARY:
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience, position requirements, and candidate qualifications. The average salary for this position is $77,474.86.
