Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Refrigeration Technician is responsible for conducting both qualitative and quantitative assessments of beverages, syrups, and raw materials throughout the production cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate syrup beverage and/or water characteristics.
  • Inspect container rinsers, air blowers, filters, and coders to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Perform package quality inspections and quality audits, isolating products that do not meet established standards.
  • Receive and analyze CO2 and all raw materials prior to the production process.
  • Maintain the highest possible housekeeping standards to prevent microbial contamination.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in physical science and/or experience in the food industry is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of general work experience is required.
  • Prior experience in food production operations is preferred.
  • Experience in a high-speed industrial environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and comprehend MSDS, operate manufacturing equipment, and knowledge of industrial technology is a plus.
