This role involves working directly with volunteers to advance the council's financial and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate training courses throughout the council jurisdiction, ensuring high-quality delivery and meeting established objectives and satisfaction scores.
  • Distribute resources and information accurately to volunteers, identifying areas for problem-solving and conflict resolution when necessary.
  • Ensure Girl Scouting is inclusive by delivering the organization's message of pluralism and diversity to all members.
  • Maintain knowledge of council program information, supporting training and messaging for trainers and volunteers.
  • Represent the council as an expert in adult training, providing required reports to inform goal achievement.
  • Participate in volunteer-led events like Outdoor Blast, Mountain Magic, and Super Saturdays, promoting council initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Requirements:

  • Teaching or training experience (2+ years); professional certifications in training or teaching are beneficial.
  • Strong ability to work with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Capacity to learn and facilitate various training programs designed by Girl Scouts or other certifying agencies.
  • 4-year college degree; valid Georgia Driver's license; background check clearance.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $68,400 - $78,000 annually, based on location and experience. The position requires a strong work ethic, flexibility, and ability to drive throughout the council footprint as needed. Dependable transportation is essential.
