Job Description
  • This role involves conducting Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans.

The ideal candidate will have experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine, with a strong background in Compensation and Pension exams.

We offer a unique opportunity to work on a PRN basis, with a flexible schedule that suits your needs. You can choose to work from our leased facility or schedule Veterans within your own practice.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans.
  • Work with a team of professionals to provide high-quality medical services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

You will be required to complete training on VES's provider portal and develop skills in using Goniometers, evaluating Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardiovascular conditions, and METs testing.

We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including a flat rate for 4-hour shifts or less, a daily rate for 5-hour shifts or longer, and a one-time bonus for completing all required training and performing first exams.

Requirements
  • Must have a valid AANP certification and an active and unrestricted full license.
  • Be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
  • Have a laptop (no Mac/Apple products) and proficiency in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
