Position Overview:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the classroom instructor to achieve educational objectives.
  • Ensure student safety and escort them as needed.
  • Assist students with their learning tasks and projects.
  • Organize instructional materials effectively.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  • Regularly meet with the instructor to plan and assess student progress.
  • Co-develop educational activities alongside the instructor.
  • Support students in their social interactions.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to students as required.
  • Supervise students during various school activities.
  • Prepare educational materials and activities as directed by the instructor.
  • Reinforce learning through appropriate resources and tools.
  • Maintain organized work and study environments.
  • Engage in parent-related activities as planned.
  • Participate in professional development workshops and training sessions.
  • REQUIREMENTS:
  • Completion of at least two years of post-secondary education.
  • Possession of an associate's degree or higher.
  • Proven proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics instruction.

Qualifications:

Level I: High School Diploma

Level II: Associate's Degree or higher or successful completion of ParaPro assessment.
