As an Enhanced Support Provider, you will work with students as part of an intervention team, implementing prepared academic and behavioral instructional programs in school. You will work 1:1 with groups of students, ranging in age from three through twenty-one, under the direction of the Behavior Specialist/classroom teacher.
Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to understand and maintain confidentiality
• Ability to use technology effectively to complete tasks
• Ability to report to work daily and on time
• Willingness to work with students who present with challenging behaviors and/or intensive learning needs
• Ability to submit to and pass background checks
• Ability to collaborate with other team members
Essential Functions:
• Works with assigned student(s) as per the assignment schedule
• Implements ABA principles with fidelity with all students
• Implements written instructional and behavior plans and collection of necessary documentation
• Maintains accurate and complete records for each academic and behavior program
• Implements specific behavior protocols including crisis intervention
• Attends all required trainings conducted by St. Marys County Public Schools
• Demonstrates all skills as outlined in St. Marys County Public Schools trainings
• Maintains orderly work areas
• Maintains confidentiality for all students and families
• Maintains and submit duty logs and submit according to payroll procedures
• Maintains rapport and professional communication with staff
• Supports students with significant behavioral, emotional, and/or academic needs in large and small group settings
• Works in pull-out settings with students
• Maintains records on instructional programs
• Attends and participate in training sessions
• Implements appropriate protocols in crisis situations
• Assists the areas of adaptive skills that may include toileting, feeding, dressing, self-help, and positioning in adaptive equipment/devices.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Willingness to work with students who present with challenging behaviors and/or intensive learning needs
Term of Employment:
Temporary/hourly position, with a maximum of 35 hours per week.
Salary Grade Range:
The salary for this temporary hourly position will be $15.00/hour Level I to $15.50/hour Level II.
Bargaining Unit Eligibility:
Not eligible
