About the Role

Orora Packaging Solutions is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to execute sales strategy, initiate contact with existing and potential customers, and develop unique, custom-tailored solutions that generate sales and profit growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales plans to grow sales and profitability within accounts.
  • Generate new leads through networking, cold calling, and researching various directories and internet sites.
  • Understand complex customer requirements and prepare customized quoting.
  • Negotiate pricing and value-added services based on quoting configurations.
  • Make manufacturing decisions on orders, including scheduling, shipping, and design.
  • Prepare periodic reports for management, identifying successful sales activities, sales trends, and special account information.
  • Track market trends and develop competitive insights to share among the business unit.
  • Manage orders to ensure timely processing, quality products, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from a 2-year college, continuing education, and/or training preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales/customer service environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong computer and organizational skills, with ability to use and create customer presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills, internal and external.
  • Knowledge of corrugated packaging, box styles, board combinations, etc.
  • Analytical skills to determine economic consequences of manufacturing a product on various machine centers.
  • Team player.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing, design, scheduling, and technical aspects of packaging.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
