Job Title: Field Service Technician I

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician I to join our team at Veralto. As a Field Service Technician I, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer service, performing preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of Hach devices located at our customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation using established company standard work.
  • Promote a positive customer experience and serve as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems.
  • Submit prompt, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure.
  • Follow safe work practices according to company policy.
  • Execute administrative activities in support of service visits.
  • Travel within a 2-hour radius of Brooklyn, New York, with up to 2 nights away each week with company-paid accommodations and meals.

Requirements:
  • Associates/Technical degree preferred, or combination of education and experience.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude is a must, with experience in preventative maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair helpful but not required.
  • 1 or more years of field service experience and/or customer-facing roles preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.
