As a Lead Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of database operations, including support, maintenance, monitoring, tuning, and optimization. You will also handle installations, updates, upgrades, and backups/restores/recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide overall database administration, including support, maintenance, monitoring, tuning, and optimization.
* Handle installations, updates, upgrades, and backups/restores/recovery processes.
* Design and analyze SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases, and manage system architecture.
* Manage incidents and problem resolution, escalating issues as necessary.
* Provide timely database statistics, data, and support for data analytics and other applications.
* Oversee operational tasks such as ETL processes, SQL Agent Jobs, and application releases.
* Provide development and production support for database and application issues.
* Maintain and administer database security access.
* Manage DBA-related projects within the organization.

Requirements:

* 5+ years of experience as a database administrator in SQL Server and other RDBMS environments.
* Cloud experience in AWS or Azure.
* SQL Server and PostgreSQL database design, system analysis & architecture.
* Experience with Microsoft Clustering and SQL Server Always On High Availability.

Education:

* Bachelor\u2019s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Certifications MCSA SQL Server and MCSA Database Administration preferred.

Compensation

* Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
