Job Title: Cash Applications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cash Applications Specialist to join our team at MKS Instruments, Inc. This role is responsible for the timely and accurate application of incoming payments, ensuring the integrity of our cash application function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Post incoming ACH, Wire, Lockbox, and Credit Card payments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Reconcile incoming cash receipts, balancing the bank statement to the general ledger on a daily and monthly basis
  • Track, research, and manage unidentified payments for proper and timely posting
  • Collaborate with the Collection Team on timely payment research, account reconciliations, and cash application requests
  • Process Credit Card transactions for customers and ensure subsequent cash receipts
  • Proactively contact customers for required supporting documentation
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of recent commercial cash applications experience
  • Working experience in Oracle Cash Application preferred or other large ERP
  • Knowledge of general ledger transactions
  • The ability to reconcile complex transactions
  • Skill at managing multiple priorities
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
