We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. This role requires a skilled clinician with extensive experience in patient care, who possesses a deep understanding of the specific needs of this patient demographic. The ideal candidate will utilize their knowledge, research, and practical experience to adapt to varying clinical scenarios. This professional will implement the Synergy Model for Care, tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient and their family while serving as a resource for colleagues and a strong advocate for patients.

  • Provides safe, reliable, and effective care to patients independently, employing the nursing process
  • Applies the Synergy Model for Care to customize care for each patient and their family
  • Communicates with respect and clarity to patients, their families, and the healthcare team
  • Accurately documents the nursing process in the appropriate formats (e.g., electronic records, clinical pathways)
  • Incorporates patient and family input into care planning
  • Evaluates patient responses to care and modifies plans as necessary
  • Recognizes and advocates for patient needs based on clinical knowledge
  • Considers cultural differences in developing relationships with patients and families

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with at least 12 months of recent nursing experience or completion of a re-entry nursing program
  • BLS certification is required; ACLS may be necessary in certain departments
  • Current LPNs within the EHC system transitioning to RN roles may be eligible for the Nurse Clinician title while completing the Resident program

Physical Requirements: The role may involve medium to heavy lifting, with physical demands varying based on assigned tasks. This includes lifting up to 75 lbs and carrying objects up to 35 lbs, along with frequent standing, walking, and occasional sitting. Close visual work, such as computer use and reading, is also required.
