Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound systems
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement effective patient education and discharge plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in cardiac catheterization or a related field
  • Current certification in ACLS, ARRT, and BLS
  • IL State License required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system
  • Knowledge of isolation precautions and rapid response team protocols
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts
