Job SummaryThis is a 13-week contract position with a guaranteed 40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will work 10-hour shifts, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the healthcare facility.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of technical procedures in the catheterization laboratory, including cardiac catheterizations and peripheral angiograms.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and imaging systems.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement patient education programs to promote healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce medical errors.
- Current certification as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CLT) or Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Specialist (CCLS).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a catheterization laboratory setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
