Role Summary:
We are looking for a Manager of Nursing for the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory who will oversee, coordinate, and manage the daily functions of the Cardiac Cath Lab. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supervising nursing staff while ensuring effective communication with physicians and administrative personnel to deliver optimal patient and family-centered care.
- Acting as a catalyst for change, consistently driving initiatives that enhance organizational systems aligned with the department's mission, vision, and values.
- Exhibiting sound judgment and clinical risk management.
- Demonstrating exemplary delegation skills to colleagues and guiding them in effective delegation practices using the Synergy model for care.
- Applying the Synergy model for care in nurse/patient assignments.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of two years in a relevant specialty.
- A valid, active, and unencumbered Nursing license or a temporary permit approved by the appropriate licensing board.
- BLS certification is required; ACLS certification may be necessary in specific departments.
- New hires or internal promotions must fulfill UCN/SNM criteria within nine months, including completion of specific training and courses.
