POSITION SUMMARY
Utilizing a range of hand and power tools, fixtures, and work instructions, the role involves executing a series of tasks to accurately assemble products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to comprehensive assembly guidelines, processes, and protocols
- Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements as per the GCM Quality System
- Complete all necessary administrative tasks related to business or regulatory obligations
- Report any issues concerning quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Lead or Production Supervisor
- Provide practical job function training to colleagues as required
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace to support manufacturing operations using 6S methodology
- Exhibit teamwork qualities as evaluated by peers
- Carry out other related tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
ESSENTIAL
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to read and understand procedures and diagrams written in English
- Capable of safely operating a forklift if certified
- Demonstrated proficiency in setting up and operating all required equipment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in medical device manufacturing
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Epicor
PREFERRED
- Two years of experience in mechanical assembly
- Forklift certification
