Job Title: SPD Tech

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SPD Tech to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining current inventory of supplies and sterile instrumentation, distributing instrumentation and supplies, assembling case carts, facilitating departmental flow, and ensuring decontamination, functionality, and overall condition of instrumentation in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and AAMI standards.

Responsibilities:

I. Inventory Management:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records of supplies and sterile instrumentation.
• Conduct regular reviews of inventory to ensure integrity of packaging and expiration dates.

II. Instrumentation Distribution:
• Issue instrumentation and supplies as requested by staff members.
• Receive and process returned instrumentation and supplies.

III. Case Cart Assembly:
• Assemble case carts with necessary supplies and instrumentation.

IV. Departmental Flow:
• Empties instrumentation from washer/disinfectors onto holding racks.
• Maintains records for equipment to ensure proper operation and sterility of instruments and supplies.

V. Instrumentation Maintenance:
• Utilize instrument tracking software for proper sorting and stringing of instruments and equipment.
• Assemble and test instrumentation to ensure proper functioning prior to sterilization.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year supply chain experience preferred.
• One year experience in hospital or related healthcare setting preferred.

Working Conditions:
• Varied shifts, to be determined in the interview.
• Normal position urgency.

Minimum Requirements:
• 1 year of experience in supply chain or related field.
• 40 hours of guaranteed work per week.

Special Skills:
• Basic working knowledge of computers required.
