High-Performing Plumbing Sales Leader

We are seeking a skilled Regional Sales Manager to lead our plumbing sales team in Michigan. This is a full-time, salaried position that requires heavy travel.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will develop and execute strategic plans to drive market share growth and gross profit. They will work closely with the Regional General Manager and VP of Sales to achieve regional and company objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities- Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of Outside Sales Account Managers
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive market share growth and gross profit
- Work with the sales force to develop annual customer sales and margin budgets
- Conduct regular reviews of account performance to ensure alignment with regional performance objectives
- Accompany sales team members on customer calls to ensure exceptional customer service
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance sales team effectiveness
- Maintain relationships with key customers and vendors to ensure exceptional service levels
- Lead pricing proposals and strategic plans for key accounts
- Monitor market trends and sales activity to ensure relevance and profitability
- Manage expenses related to sales activity to ensure alignment with regional objectives
- Five years of field selling experience in the plumbing industry, with three to five years of sales team hiring, development, and management experience
- A valid driver's license, as heavy travel is required
- Experience in the distribution industry
- Analytical ability to integrate and interpret data from diverse sources
- Ability to lead, coach, and motivate individuals and teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to plan, analyze, prioritize, and organize work effectively
