Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Orthopedic Surgery. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patient care and technical skills in the operation of diagnostic radiographic equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiographic procedures by accurately assessing their needs and providing education.
  • Operate computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation.
  • Perform quality control measures to ensure optimal quality images.
  • Prepare patient films for interpretation by radiologists.
  • Practice safety measures in radiography and Environment of Care.
  • Participate in research projects and instruct students and staff on clinical MRI skills.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
  • Certification and Registration as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and Licensure as a Medical Radiological Technologist or Limited Medical Radiological Technologist by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
