Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Equipment Specialist to join our team at The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nashville. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration equipment, and HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Analyze and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Commission new kitchen equipment installations and ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of equipment and prevent breakdowns.
  • Coordination and Prioritization: Coordinate and prioritize repair tasks to respond in a timely manner and minimize downtime.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in maintaining and repairing commercial kitchen equipment, including walk-ins, steamers, convection ovens, dishwashers, and HVAC systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to coordinate with colleagues and management.
