We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Analyst III to join our Compensation team at The Chickasaw Nation. As a key member of our team, you will provide advanced compensation analytical guidance and support to tribal, health, and business units.
Key Responsibilities- Apply total rewards principles and labor market data to manage base and variable pay for non-manager and manager roles.
- Conduct job evaluations, gather data, and complete market pricing of non-manager roles with limited oversight, and manager roles with general oversight.
- Assist in special compensation projects by conducting research, performing analysis, and preparing reports.
- Study internal and external wage and salary data to build recommendations for compensation customers.
- Design and develop new compensation programs and modify existing programs.
- Participate in annual compensation salary surveys.
- Guide and assist internal customers in developing job descriptions for their areas.
- Conduct analytical and quantitative research of pay practices.
- Interact with business partners in HR and assigned customers to provide compensation reviews, procedural guidance, and problem resolution.
- Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to reason and anticipate solutions for compensation-related issues.
- Apply Chickasaw Nation base pay policies and compensation guidelines and procedures to accomplish tasks and provide answers to customer inquiries.
- 5 years of directly related experience.
- High School, GED, or Equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree in a directly related field (non-essential).
- Masters Degree in a directly related field (non-essential).
- Business or Finance background (non-essential).
- Years of experience in lieu of degree (non-essential).
- Pass pre-employment drug test.
- Work in a casino, hospital, or clinic environment.
- Exposure to bright and flashing lights.
- Light travel.
- Occasional bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing, reaching.
- Use of computer up to 75% of shift.
- Lifting and carrying up to 15 lbs.
- Listening and hearing ability.
- Hand-eye coordination, reach, and grasp.
- Visual acuity for detail, distance, color, depth perception.
