About the JobWe are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Director of Employee Relations and Workforce Strategy. In this position, you will lead the development and implementation of effective labor relations strategies, foster a positive work environment, and provide expert guidance to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor relations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex workplace issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective labor relations strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through effective relationships with employees and leadership teams.
  • Investigate and resolve complex workplace issues, ensuring equitable resolutions for all parties involved.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement workplace policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to supervisors and managers on labor relations, conflict resolution, and effective people management strategies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in labor and employee relations, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management role. Experience in non-profits or mission-driven organizations is a plus.
  • Demonstrated expertise in labor relations, conflict resolution, and negotiation; strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in HR systems, MS Office, and relevant software tools.

Salary and Benefits:$90,000 - $115,000 per year, comprehensive health insurance, generous PTO package, and tuition remission for eligible programs.
