Key Skills Required: Apigee

Position Overview:
  • Establishing comprehensive API frameworks, including the integration and deployment of API management solutions alongside security measures such as SAML, Web SSO, and SSL/TLS.
  • Expertise in monitoring and health assessments for Apigee components and APIs utilizing various tools and configuration management systems.
  • Proficient understanding of Apigee Gateway operations, cloud infrastructure, and security protocols.
  • Experience in ensuring high availability, load balancing, and disaster recovery configurations within Apigee environments.
  • Facilitating support and upgrades for both production and non-production Apigee environments.
  • Implementing best practices for APIs and optimizing performance.
  • Overseeing installation, configuration, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and swift resolution of complex issues.
  • Setting up Router-Message processors and other Apigee components for future configurations.
  • Managing the commissioning and decommissioning processes of Apigee data centers.
  • Understanding firewall configurations and load balancer setups for onboarding business partners and backend systems to ensure end-to-end communication.
  • Evaluating current and future topologies to establish future Apigee configurations based on client needs.
  • Collaborating with infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, governance, and testing teams for Apigee-related setups and resolutions.
  • Solid knowledge of RHEL, shell scripting, and performance testing/debugging migration strategies.
  • Development experience with Apigee is considered an advantage.
  • Providing L2/L3 support for the Apigee platform to maintain high availability.
  • Addressing production support incidents, service requests, and changes while ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
  • Assisting consumers and IT stakeholders by delivering solutions for reported platform issues.
