Position Overview

Position Title: Emergency Medical Services Evaluator

Employment Type: Part-Time

FLSA Status: Exempt

Compensation: Salary is established according to the designated salary schedule for Emergency Medical Services Evaluator roles.

Location: Norfolk, NE

General Overview:

This role allows the individual to serve as a National Registry Evaluator or assistant for all psychomotor skill assessments of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) professionals. Evaluators must possess the capability to assess all competencies at the level of their certification. Evaluations are typically held on Saturdays on campus from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, occurring approximately seven times a year as required.



Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
A valid state license as an EMS provider is necessary. Current National Registry Certification is highly preferred. A state license as an EMS instructor is also advantageous but not mandatory. Assistants should have a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities of EMS providers and their associated skills.

Experience Requirements:
A minimum of three years of experience as an out-of-hospital EMS provider is preferred.
