Job Title: Maintenance Technician III

Pacesetter Personnel Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team in South Houston, TX. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including changeovers, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
  • Apply basic electrical skills and knowledge of mechanical systems to resolve issues.
  • Repair and maintain high-speed production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Practice safe work habits and follow proper lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Respond to calls from line supervisors or operators to repair equipment as needed.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance on equipment and participate in daily meetings to discuss maintenance department objectives.
  • Install and rebuild equipment, troubleshoot pneumatic devices and hydraulic systems, and develop preventative maintenance needs and requirements.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical or electrical problems in a timely manner and take the lead in resolving technical issues.
  • Interact with the public and other employees in a positive manner and promote a cooperative working environment.
  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing demands on time frames.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and negotiate in a competitive environment.
  • General understanding of electric and electrical controls and ability to work 12-hour shifts with flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in a related field with proven industry experience, beverage experience a plus.
  • Ability to read schematics and computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of OSHA laws with ability to implement all OSHA required training for the department.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English, bilingual preferred but not required.
  • Ability and willingness to work 12-hour shifts and flexible full-time schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed.

Pay:

  • $28.00 an hour depending on experience.
