The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining all campus buildings, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and grounds. They will also be responsible for housekeeping, art & environment decorations according to liturgical seasons, and supporting ministries room setups.

The ideal candidate will have experience with power tools, upkeep, and meeting room setups. They will also be able to lift and/or move heavy items, work from a ladder up to 20 feet, and an elevated platform up to 40 feet.

The Maintenance Technician will report to the Principal and the Facilities Manager. They will be responsible for performing tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager, communicating well with supervisors, peers, and visitors to campus, and responding to emergency maintenance or facility defects.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years related experience and/or training. They will also be able to operate Microsoft Outlook, work order platform, and basic mobile device applications.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work environment and working well with outside contractors on maintenance issues.

The ideal candidate will be able to interpret and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. They will also be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, and diagram form.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for working independently without continuous direct supervision and interacting in a professional manner with others on campus.
