Relay Settings Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Relay Settings Engineer to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing microgrid and renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop relay settings for microprocessor relays, including SEL, Alstom, GE, ABB, and others.
- Prepare protective relay coordination studies and develop relay logic to complete schemes.
- Work with design engineers and perform quality reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Interact with clients and staff to provide technical expertise and support.
- Collaborate with other disciplines, including Substation, Protection & Controls, and Civil Structural.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 2+ years of related experience.
- Experience with creating relay settings and logic diagrams, as well as using Aspen OneLiner and/or Electrocon CAPE for coordination studies and fault study analysis.
- Strong engineering and interpersonal skills, with a passion for quality and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-starter with minimal direction, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Information
- Periodic travel may be required.
- Experience with PTC MathCAD software and previous Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience are considered a plus.
