Port Technician

We are seeking a skilled Port Technician to join our team at Konecranes Nuclear Equip and Services LLC. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and inspections on various types of cranes and equipment at customer locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct extensive on-site electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting to determine the cause of equipment malfunctions and establish necessary repairs.
- Perform on-site repairs on customer cranes in conjunction with planned repairs as part of customer maintenance contracts, in response to service calls, or on emergency calls due to equipment breakdowns.
- Responsible for a basic understanding and working knowledge of all OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, and other codes or regulations pertaining to our industry.
- Complete all daily paperwork required accurately and completely.
- Document and log any quotations provided to customers and generate a document or copy of the quote for follow-up purposes.
- Review with customers all repairs performed and obtain their signature on the daily service report indicating acceptance of proper and completed work.
- Minimum one year's experience involving electrical and electronic troubleshooting and repair.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to work off the ground and in demanding work environments.
- Willingness to work overtime and out of town as necessary.

- 2 weeks of vacation per year (pro-rated for the first year depending on start date). 5-12 years of service, 3 weeks. 13+ years of service, 4 weeks.
