Job Title: Port Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Port Service Technician to join our team at Konecranes Nuclear Equip and Services LLC. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and inspections on various types of cranes and equipment at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct extensive on-site electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting to determine the cause of equipment malfunctions and establish necessary repairs.
  • Perform on-site repairs on customer cranes in conjunction with planned repairs as part of customer maintenance contracts, in response to service calls, or on emergency calls due to equipment breakdowns.
  • Responsible for a basic understanding and working knowledge of all OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, and other codes or regulations pertaining to our industry.
  • Document and log any quotations provided to customers, either verbally or in writing, and generate a document or copy of the quote for follow-up purposes.
  • Review with customers all repairs performed and obtain their signature on the daily service report indicating acceptance of proper and completed work.
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year's experience involving electrical and electronic troubleshooting and repair.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and ability to work at heights.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to work overtime and out of town, as necessary.
