Job Title: Port Technician

Join Konecranes, a global leader in material handling solutions, as a Port Technician and be part of a team that sets the industry benchmark. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cranes and equipment at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on cranes and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct thorough electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
  • Perform on-site repairs and maintenance as part of customer maintenance contracts or in response to emergency calls.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and codes, including OSHA, ANSI, and CMAA.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed, including daily service reports and customer interactions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical and electronic troubleshooting and repair.
  • Associate degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or related field, or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and ability to work at heights.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to work overtime and out of town as needed.
