KinderCare Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Center Director to lead our childcare programs and teams. As a Center Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our center, ensuring the highest quality of care and education for our children, and building strong relationships with our families and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and develop a team of experienced educators to provide high-quality care and education to our children.
- Partner with parents to understand their needs and preferences, and work with them to create personalized learning plans for their children.
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners to promote our center and build a strong reputation in the community.
- Use your business acumen to grow our center's presence in the community, leading to increased enrollment and revenue growth.
Qualifications
- At least one year of solid leadership experience in early childhood education, with a proven track record of developing and inspiring high-performing teams.
- Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
- Budget and financial accountability, with experience in revenue generation and financial management.
- Knowledge of NAEYC/NAC and state licensing requirements, with ability to meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, work indoors or outdoors, and assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
