Job Title: Technical Writer II

BOOST LLC is seeking a highly motivated Technical Writer II to join our team. As a Technical Writer II, you will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation for our clients in the GovCon space.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a keen attention to detail. You will work closely with our team to analyze complex information, create engaging content, and deliver high-quality documentation in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, draft, and/or edit content such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Memorandum of Agreements (MOA), Online help articles, training material, meeting notes, and web-development
  • Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure, and form documentation
  • Produce quality content with prompt delivery of all task and contractual deliverables associated with product development
  • Assist in meeting facilitation, including contributing to discussion and taking meeting notes
  • Employ agile principles to establish a two-week deployment schedule
  • Present information in a concise and logical way for reader comprehension
  • Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions
  • Meet with subject-matter experts to collect and synthesize information, prepare written text, and produce technical content that enhances the user experience
  • Coordinate tasks to track delivery, installation, and ensure that operations and security protocols are properly conducted
  • Liaise between end users, stakeholders, and on-site government employees
  • Collaborate with members of the product team to decompose large epics into features and user stories that can be understood and approved by members of the development team
  • Help facilitate planning sessions with clients and team members to ensure that planned work is well-defined, planned, articulated, and understood
  • Analyze complex and technical information required for product development
  • Lead or assist with requirements gathering sessions to produce accurate user-facing documentation
  • Maintain and organize the internal document library
Requirements:
  • Candidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selected
  • 3+ Years of experience as Technical Writer, Business Analyst, and/or similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (English, Literature, and/or Writing a plus) or equivalent work experience
  • Well-versed in Agile with a familiarity with IT
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience creating analysis documentation for multiple audiences
  • Experience creating and using infographics such as diagrams, screenshots, charts, workflows, and graphics that increase users' understanding
  • Experience working with technical and non-technical team members, and stakeholders at different levels in IT field
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Share Point
