Job Summary:
Digital Consultants, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Technical/Proposal Writer to support our growing proposal volume and company growth targets. As a key member of our proposal team, you will be responsible for developing compliant and compelling proposals that clearly describe our strengths and discriminators.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze USG solicitations to identify proposal requirements.
- Develop compliance matrices and proposal schedules to ensure timely and accurate proposal submissions.
- Contribute to all aspects of the proposal development process, including strategies, storyboarding, writing, editing, design, and graphics support.
- Work closely with corporate executives, managers, and subject matter experts to create proposal content that showcases our technical solutions and management approaches.
- Support proposed key personnel and other candidate resume templating and conversion to proposal-quality resumes.
- Attend and contribute to proposal progress meetings and assist in the company's preparations for color team reviews.
- Support lessons learned processes by evaluating proposal workflow and making recommendations for improvement.
- Manage and update proposal boilerplates, templates, and ready reference libraries.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical writing or proposal writing for US Government solicitations.
- Minimum 3 years of experience writing technical content for information technology proposals in response to Government solicitations.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field; or four years of additional experience in USG proposal writing may be substituted.
- Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and composition.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
- Highly organized, team-oriented, independent thinker, and collaborative.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in time-sensitive environments and meet deadlines.
