Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a cardiopulmonary specialist, you will play a vital role in the assessment and treatment of patients with respiratory and cardiac conditions.

About the Role

You will work under the supervision of experienced professionals to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by physicians. This will include administering medical gases, aerosol therapy, blood specimen analysis, patient testing, and operating complex equipment. Your responsibilities will also involve providing mechanical ventilation, maintaining artificial airways, and assisting with cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program. You should hold a current Respiratory Therapist license from the State Board for Respiratory Care and possess advanced certifications such as NBRC CRT and NRP. Previous clinical experience is preferred but not mandatory.
