Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Specialist to join our team in Oklahoma City, providing expert care for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care, utilizing their knowledge of respiratory therapy principles and practices.

This is a 13-week contract position, working 36 hours per week, with a shift duration of 12 hours, nights. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Provide respiratory care to patients per physician orders and established policies and procedures
  • Participate in the development and/or implementation of patient care plans
  • Maintain and promote good customer relations, communicating effectively with management, coworkers, facility staff, patients, patients' family members, and other caretakers
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Respiratory Therapist credential by the NBRC, and CPR certification required
  • Eighteen months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting

Salary and Compensation

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on 36 hours of work per week and 13 weeks of contract duration.
