Position Overview:


As a key member of our audit team, you will oversee the activities of auditors, analysts, and other personnel while conducting comprehensive internal audits and evaluations of client operations.

Your responsibilities will include designing and executing audit surveys and program assessments, ensuring alignment with audit objectives, and verifying compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

You will be tasked with drafting detailed audit reports and summaries that outline findings, reviewing corrective measures from previous audits, and assessing the effectiveness of those actions.

Additionally, you will compile persuasive reports and briefing documents to assist in preparing for external audits, acting as the primary liaison for external auditors.

Your role will involve analyzing financial data and departmental procedures to ensure compliance, while also providing recommendations to improve operational efficiency.

Utilizing your advanced consulting skills and extensive technical knowledge, you will develop innovative solutions to complex challenges, work independently, and mentor junior team members.

Essential Qualifications:
Proven experience in planning and executing audits and analyzing audit-derived data
Strong report writing skills
Familiarity with federal auditing standards
Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Proficient in data analysis
Ability to collaborate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of federal auditing experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
Mandatory Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
Secret security clearance required.

Security Clearance:


Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
