We are seeking a highly skilled Transport RN to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Transport RN, you will be responsible for providing critical care to patients during inter-facility transport via ambulance or fixed wing. You will work closely with doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities- Provide critical care to patients during transport, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Three (3) years of Neonatal or Pediatric critical care or ED experience required.
- CCRN – Critical Care Registered Nurse Certification or C-NPT – Certified Neonatal and Pediatric Transport Certification PFCCS –Pediatric Fundamental Critical Care Support within (2) years of hire date.
- NRP is Required for Peds and NEO within 6 months of hire.
- ACLS is required within 6 months of hire.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to stressors such as excessive motion, vibration, and extreme temperatures. The incumbent must be able to lift/push/pull a minimum of 150 lbs and be able to tolerate the physical demands of flight and medical transport.
