Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Transport RN to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Transport RN, you will be responsible for providing critical care to patients during inter-facility transport via ambulance or fixed wing. You will work closely with doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage patients with complex medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements:
- Current RN license in the State of Florida
- 3+ years of experience in pediatric or neonatal critical care
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to lift/push/pull a minimum of 150 lbs
- Must be able to tolerate stressors of flight and medical transport
- Must be able to work in a confined space and provide patient care in a variety of settings
