We are seeking a highly skilled Transport RN to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Transport RN, you will be responsible for providing critical care to patients during inter-facility transport via ambulance or fixed wing.
Responsibilities- Ensure continuity of care, medical management, and safe transport of patients
- Organize, coordinate, and prioritize nursing care activities considering the needs of the patient population
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care and care coordination, progressing patients toward desired outcomes
- Demonstrate leadership in the delivery of patient care
- Assess the physical, psychological, social, and cultural dimensions of patients according to professional practice standards and institutional policy/procedure
- Three (3) years of Neonatal or Pediatric critical care or ED experience required
- Must have CCRN – Critical Care Registered Nurse Certification or C-NPT – Certified Neonatal and Pediatric Transport Certification PFCCS – Pediatric Fundamental Critical Care Support within (2) years of hire
- ACLS is required within 6 months of hire
