Job Title: Assembly D

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly D to join our team at L3 Harris. As an Assembly D, you will be responsible for performing multiple tasks on assigned teams, projects, or functional areas. Your duties will include non-routine and non-repetitive production electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical assembly, quality assurance and reliability testing, production scheduling and control, and coordinating the flow of material, parts, and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks on assigned teams, projects, or functional areas
  • Conduct quality assurance and reliability testing
  • Coordinate the flow of material, parts, and assemblies
  • Participate in program or functional team projects to develop process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and fixturing
  • Ability to lift at least 32 pounds
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop orders
  • Ability to follow and give written and verbal instructions
  • Basic shop math including measuring ratios by weight and volume

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office

Work Environment:

This position requires the ability to work in a team environment and promote a team-oriented culture. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
