**Job Description**

A leading industrial manufacturing company in the United States has an immediate need for an in-house Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Specialist to join their team. The HSE Specialist will be responsible for daily routine walk-throughs on the production floor, ensuring employees and contractors have proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ensuring chemicals are labeled properly, checking airlines, and more. You will work hand-in-hand with third-party health and safety advisors and assist with monthly random walk-throughs. The candidate must be bilingual (English/Spanish). The schedule includes Monday to Saturday, 12-hour shifts, occasional Sundays, and occasional night shift surprise check-ins (1-2 per month).

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform daily routine walk-throughs on the production floor to ensure a safe working environment
  • Ensure employees and contractors have proper PPE
  • Ensure chemicals are labeled properly
  • Check airlines and other safety equipment
  • Work with third-party health and safety advisors
  • Assist with monthly random walk-throughs

**Requirements:**

  • 4+ years' experience as an HSE Coordinator/Specialist
  • 4+ years' experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Experience performing in-house inspections and walk-throughs
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
