Acute Care RN

Covenant Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Acute Care Registered Nurse to join our team. As an Acute Care RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assessing and addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring clear and timely information exchange.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Texas Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year RN experience.
