The Sales Representative promotes and sells Wilsonart products and marketing programs to various buying and non-buying decision-makers, including fabricators, OEM accounts, architects, designers, and corporate specifiers. This role assists Spec Reps in securing specifications from the professional design community by developing relationships within this community. The Sales Representative seeks potential new customers and services all buying and non-buying accounts. Additional responsibilities include effectively managing time and resources to ensure personal and team sales targets are met, forecasting sales, and developing sales strategies and models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage time and resources to meet sales targets
  • Forecast sales and develop sales strategies
  • Create demand with Home Depot, Lowes, construction supply companies, fabricators, and General Contractors
  • Identify and develop new accounts and opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics and operations teams
  • Act as liaison between corporate initiatives and the field
  • Document activities in the CRM
  • Provide leadership and expertise to local customers and Metro Staff
  • Maintain knowledge of the Wilsonart product line

Requirements:

  • Track record of over-achieving sales quotas
  • Experience working with a CRM and pipeline management
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques
  • Computer use proficiency
  • Knowledge of the decorative surfaces industry and Wilsonart products
  • Experience with sales and marketing principles, material handling, specification sales, and channel sales
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

Compensation:

The wage range for this role takes into account various factors, including skill sets, experience, and training. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000 - $120,000.
